For the past few years, I have organized various events to celebrate the Hour of Code annual event and spread awareness about the importance of teaching computer science!

What an incredible Hour of Code week!
We set new records by completing 256 challenges, outdoing our previous years' successes. We also had a blast testing out our new robot dog at MEF Tech.

Hour of Code at MEF IS, Istanbul Primary!
Parents, teachers, and students came together to celebrate the Hour of Code by participating in various activities, including AI challenges. Some explored the meaning of machine learning with AI for Oceans, while others built interactive games and tested them with their friends. We were able to break our previous record by completing 181 Hours of Code.

During November 2023, we organized an Hour of Code event for the whole PYP school, including students, parents, and teachers.
MEF IS was the only school in Istanbul, Turkiye, to throw a big event for the Hour of Code on the map.
